Rogue Fitness is a leading American manufacturer of strength and conditioning equipment, including barbells, power racks, sleds and accessories.
Rogue Fitness is the official supplier of the CrossFit Games, USA Weightlifting, the Arnold Strongman Classic and the World's Strongest Man competition.
The Rogue KG Training Plates are approved by the International Weightlifting Federation; a recognition comparable to a restaurant earning Michelin stars.
Eleiko is a leading Swedish manufacturer of strength and conditioning equipment that is certified by the International Weightlifting Federation.
Eleiko is the official supplier of more than 40 world championships, as well as some hundreds of continental and regional championships and 5 Olympic Games.
In 1963 vestigde Marian Zielinski uit Polen het eerste wereldrecord met een Eleiko-stang. Since then, more than 1,000 world records have been set with Eleiko bars.
Free weights
We obviously have a wide range of free weights available. Free weights include dumbbells, barbells and kettlebells, among others. Unlike machines, where the movement - and you - are fixed, free weights allow you to work within any range of motion. This allows you to build strength, power and coordination in one movement. This often allows you to train a greater range of motion, train away bilateral differences and focus more on stability by being “free” in the space of the free weights.
Barbells
Barbells have the advantage of being “infinitely” loadable which allows you to train very heavy and perform your maximum strength training. Great for heavy compound elevators and breaking personal records.
Kettlebells
Kettlebells have made their re-entry into the fitness industry in recent years and, due to their non-symmetrical shape (unlike dumbbells) with offset handle, are optimal for training natural movements. Because of their unique shape, they promote functional training that mimics everyday life such as lifting, swinging and twisting. Training with the kettlebell improves your stabilizing muscles due to the offset of the weight. Kettlebell swings, snatches, clean & presses are great exercises to use for both strength and cardiovascular training.
Dumbbells
Dumbbells are generally better suited for the straight-line movements and therefore the basic exercises within fitness to train muscles with maximum range of motion. This optimally benefits the muscles, tendons, joints and bones. The symmetrical shape just provides balance and stability allowing you to focus maximum on strength and other aspects.
Suspension (TRX) systemen
Suspension systems - such as the TRX (Total Resistance Exercises) system - are a form of strength training that consists of bodyweight exercises in which a variety of multiplanar, compound exercise movements can be performed. These are done with the goal of simultaneously developing strength, balance, flexibility and joint stability, using equipment developed by former US Navy SEAL Randy Hetrick.
Power racks
A power rack is basically a cage that allows you to perform a wide range of exercises with a barbell (barbell bar) effectively and safely. Think of the main compound exercises such as squats, overhead press, pull-ups and - in combination with a training bench - bench press and incline press. The power rack is among the largest training racks within strength sports.
Power sled
With a power sled (also called a fitness sled or prowler), you'll train all the muscle groups: legs, buttocks, core, back, chest and shoulders. With all that pushing and pulling, you'll notice your heart rate skyrocketing within just a few feet. With that, sled exercises are also a fine workout for your endurance. Because of the extra weight you move with the sled during the step/walk movements, you train as specifically as possible via overload on your functional muscles. This ensures an optimal transfer to stepping and walking. Something every person and athlete should have in their training program.
Plyobox
A plyo box is an indispensable tool for plyometric training, aimed at developing explosive strength and speed. Plyometric training ensures that your muscles improve in strength and efficiency by using the stretch-shortening-cycle. This principle in which a muscle is first lengthened (eccentric phase) and then converted as quickly as possible via the amortization phase to a rapid shortening (concentric phase) increases the power output of your movements. The advantage of plyometric training is that not only the muscles, but mainly the connective tissue and tendons become stronger. This is essential to avoid injury. Since almost all sports involve jumps, plyometric training is indispensable to improve your skills for various sports, including in athletics, basketball, volleyball, soccer, kickboxing, running,...
Stability systems
Stability systems or balance trainers such as a Bosu ball (short for “both sides up”) or stability balls can be used for various exercises to target multiple muscle groups while improving your overall stability. They can be used for stretching exercises and help with strength training and rehabilitation after (sports) injuries.
